Week 4

Weekdays during the 4th week were same as always. Working 7:30 to 16:00. Nothing special happened during the weekdays.

      For the weekend I went to the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam for a day trip during the weekend. The train there took about 2 and a half hours and I didnt have any problems. I arrived in Amsterdam Centraal around 12pm. After I left the train station I immediately ran into this view.

 

As I only went there for a day trip I only explored a small part of the city which was mostly near the train station. I bought some souvenirs from a shopping center. The weather was very good as it was sunny the entire day. I first went to eat at Dunkin Donuts and after a few hours I went to a KFC.

                     

                     

                    

                           

I left Amsterdam in the evening and the train trip back only took around 2 hours. I arrived late in the evening back in Groningen.

Our journey began in Helsinki-Vantaa Airport where we boarded the plane at 8:15 finnish time. We arrived at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam at 9:55.   After we landed, we went to get our baggage and boarded our train to Groningen. We arrived at the Groningen railway station around 13:10 where we met with Evert. He brought us to our apartment and then to a grocery store. We explored the city for the rest of the week after getting from work. We went to foorum where we could see the entire city.
